Randy Troutman to address 2006 MDM Minneapolis conference
Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA...Randy Troutman, principal engineer, medical engineering, has been invited to address the 2006 Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) Minneapolis conference. Troutman will speak on the topic "Sterile Barrier System Validation and Expiration Dating Considerations," session #307, at 1:00 pm on October 26, 2006.
Troutman will address the design, development, and validation of packaging systems for medical devices, including how to achieve efficient and adequate prove-out of packaging systems. He will also discuss how to create and execute a validation plan that ensures product protection and patient safety.
Randy Troutman joined Oliver Medical in August, having worked previously for Smith & Nephew, Medtronic, and Kimberly Clark. He is a Certified Packaging Professional and holds a B.S. in packaging and an MBA. Troutman is a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals medical device packaging committee and the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation packaging working group.
