Oliver Medical introduces Ovantex®
Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA...Oliver Medical has introduced Ovantex®, a revolutionary sterile-grade packaging material that fills the gap between paper and Tyvek®, lowering medical packaging costs by more than 30%. Ovantex is a strong, breathable, synthetic fiber substrate with exceptional sterile barrier properties and strength, in a heavy basis weight sheet that won't delaminate.

Ovantex is available only from Oliver for roll stock and pouches. Ovantex is compatible with EtO, radiation, and autoclave sterilization processes.
Oliver's proprietary Xhale™ adhesive provides visual verification of a strong seal. Superior porosity reduces costs with shorter EtO sterilization cycles and the assurance of an effective kill. Xhale™ offers superior anchorage; greater humidity and condensation resistance; and clean, smooth peelability.
